In the distant past, before the formation of Earth as we know it today, a cataclysmic event reshaped the cosmos. A rogue planet, Nibiru, swept through the solar system on an elongated orbit, violently colliding with the planet Tiamat. From the shattered remains of this collision, the Earth was born, and the remnants of Nibiru continued their celestial dance around the sun. On both nascent worlds, life began to take root, evolving in unique and extraordinary ways. The harsh environment of Nibiru forged a race of highly advanced beings known as the Annunaki, while the fertile lands of Earth nurtured the development of primitive ape-men.
Eons passed, and the Annunaki, driven by a desperate need to repair their planet\'s deteriorating atmosphere, ventured to Earth in search of a precious resource: gold. They descended upon the blue planet, their technological prowess far surpassing that of the primitive humans who inhabited it.
At first, the Annunaki toiled tirelessly, mining the Earth\'s gold deposits with their own hands. But as the centuries wore on, their labor became an unbearable burden. In a bold and unprecedented move, they decided to create a new race of beings – a hybrid of their own superior DNA and that of the ape-men who roamed the Earth.
Thus, humanity was born, a genetic amalgamation of the celestial Annunaki and the earthly ape-men. The Annunaki were revered as gods by these newly created humans, who worshipped and served their every whim. Under the tutelage of their creators, humanity learned the ways of agriculture, animal husbandry, and the construction of rudimentary dwellings. They were taught to read, write, and master the intricacies of mathematics – skills that would one day shape the course of their civilization.
But the cosmic dance of Nibiru was not without consequence. On one fateful orbit, the rogue planet came perilously close to Earth, unleashing a cataclysmic deluge that wiped out nearly all life on the surface. Only a few pockets of humanity survived, clinging to the highest mountaintops or sheltering aboard a specially designed vessel that rode out the devastating flood.
The Annunaki watched from their celestial vantage point as the waters consumed the Earth, their creations teetering on the brink of extinction. When the floodwaters finally receded, they returned to the ravaged planet, finding the once-thriving cities and gold mines reduced to ruin.
Undeterred, the Annunaki joined forces with the surviving humans, guiding them in the arduous task of rebuilding their civilization from the ground up. They ventured across vast oceans, discovering new lands where gold had been washed down from the mountains, ripe for the mining.
For thousands of years, this cycle of struggle, war, and rebirth continued, with the Annunaki ever-present as both benefactors and overlords. But ultimately, they grew weary of their role as caretakers and decided to depart Earth, leaving humanity to fend for itself.
As they prepared to take their leave, the Annunaki bestowed upon their creations a parting gift – a promise that one day, they would return to the world they had helped shape, to guide humanity once more towards a higher plane of existence.
And so, the Annunaki departed, their celestial crafts disappearing into the vast expanse of the cosmos, leaving behind a world forever changed by their presence – a world where the seeds of human civilization had taken root, destined to flourish and one day reach for the stars from whence their creators had come. | | Social links:

| About the Author J. Thomas Hunton grew up in rural Maine, the youngest of four siblings in a typical 60's family. His love for nature and exploring led him to spend his days walking through fields and forests, climbing trees, and fishing in brooks and lakes.
But at a young age, J.Thomas was forced to navigate family separations and choose between his parents. These challenges left him feeling withdrawn, turning to fantasy and poetry as an escape. It wasn't until his eighth grade teacher saw potential in his writing that he considered becoming an author.
At seventeen, J.Thomas joined the Army and quickly matured as he was exposed to new environments and cultures. After three years, he left the Army and married his love Frances before joining the U.S Navy.
J.Thomas proudly served for seventeen years, reaching the rank of Navy Chief Petty Officer. During this time, he also pursued higher education while working various jobs in electronics and construction.
In 2019, J.Thomas lost his wife Frances to cancer and struggled with grief and depression. Eventually, he reunited with an old flame from eighth grade, Barbara, who he later married. The couple moved to Florida in 2022.
After finally finding relief from his illnesses with medication, J. Thomas returned to writing in 2024. He quickly completed his second novel, "Displacement," which was published in November of that year. Currently, he is revamping "Marscape" under the title "Marscape: Revisited" and working on the sequel to "Displacement."
"Annunaki" holds a special place in J.Thomas' heart as it explores theories about human origins that he had long questioned during his involvement with various Christian and Jewish Messianic religions. His interest in the Annunaki theory was sparked after reading the works of Zechariah Sitchin.
Today, J.Thomas lives in Florida with his wife Barbara and their dog Willow. He continues to pursue his passions for writing and music, playing in a band called "Six River Band" and collaborating with other musicians who share a love for bluegrass and country music. |
